Terms of Service

Last updated: September 11, 2026

These Terms explain the rules that apply when you use Solvunu, including its Windows application, website and utility tools.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service apply to the Solvunu website, the Solvunu Windows application and the tools and features made available through them (together, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

2. What Solvunu provides

Solvunu is a collection of calculators, converters, estimators and other utility tools designed to solve everyday problems quickly. Individual tools may be added, changed or removed over time.

Hours & Pay is currently one of the tools available in Solvunu and is intended to help users calculate work time, breaks, overtime and estimated pay.

3. Calculator results and estimates

Important: Solvunu provides practical calculations and estimates. Results should not be treated as legal, tax, payroll, accounting, employment or financial advice.

Results depend on the information you enter and on the assumptions used by a particular tool. Rules relating to wages, overtime, taxes, employment and other subjects may differ by country, state, employer, contract or individual circumstances.

You are responsible for checking important results before relying on them for payroll, contracts, tax filings, payments, business decisions or legal compliance.

4. License to use the app

Subject to these Terms, Solvunu grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to install and use the application for its intended purpose.

The application is licensed, not sold. Except where applicable law permits otherwise, you may not:

  • redistribute, sell, rent, lease or sublicense the application;
  • circumvent purchase, licensing or access controls;
  • remove proprietary notices;
  • use the Services for unlawful purposes; or
  • attempt to interfere with the security or normal operation of the Services.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded, including rights that may apply to software interoperability or consumer protection.

5. Free and paid features

Solvunu may provide both free and paid features. The availability, scope and price of paid features may change over time.

Where a purchase is made through the Microsoft Store, Microsoft processes the transaction. Microsoft’s applicable store terms, payment rules and refund policies also apply to that transaction.

6. Your data and local content

You are responsible for information you enter into Solvunu and for maintaining any backups that are important to you. Depending on the feature, Solvunu may store preferences, calculation history, templates or other user-created information locally on your device.

Please review the Solvunu Privacy Policy for more information about how data is handled.

7. Intellectual property

Solvunu, its branding, software, website, interface, original content and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Solvunu intellectual property to you.

Third-party names, trademarks and services remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Third-party services

The Services may rely on or link to third-party services, including the Microsoft Store. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Solvunu is not responsible for the availability, policies or operation of services it does not control.

9. Availability and updates

We may improve, update, replace or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available, that the Services will be uninterrupted, or that every device or Windows configuration will be supported forever.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that every calculation will be error-free, that the Services will meet every individual requirement or that the Services will always operate without interruption.

Mandatory statutory warranties and consumer rights remain unaffected.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Solvunu is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the Services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence or mandatory consumer rights where applicable.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Services, legal requirements or business practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will show when the Terms were most recently revised.

13. Governing law and consumer rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights and protections available to you under the laws of your country of residence.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

15. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the official contact details published on solvunu.com.
