This Privacy Policy explains how Solvunu handles information when you use the Solvunu website, Windows application and individual utility tools.
2. Privacy by design
Solvunu is designed to solve simple problems without requiring unnecessary personal information. Core functionality is intended to work without a Solvunu account.
We aim to collect as little personal data as reasonably necessary for the functionality you choose to use.
3. Information stored on your device
Depending on the tools and features you use, the Solvunu application may store information locally on your device, including:
- application and interface preferences;
- work times, breaks and hourly rates you enter;
- calculation history and saved weeks;
- templates and custom settings;
- reminder preferences; and
- export, backup or restore settings where those features are available.
Local data is used to provide the feature you requested and to make the application more useful on your device.
4. Information Solvunu does not need for core use
The current Solvunu experience does not require you to create a Solvunu account or provide your name, home address or payment card details to use the core calculation tools.
5. Website data and cookies
The current Solvunu website does not intentionally use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking cookies or third-party analytics scripts.
Our hosting provider and internet infrastructure may process standard technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP addresses, request timestamps, browser information and server logs. Such processing may occur as part of normal website hosting and security operations.
If we later add analytics, advertising, account features or other technologies that materially change this position, we will update this policy and provide any notices or consent controls required by applicable law.
6. Microsoft Store and payments
If you download Solvunu or purchase paid features through the Microsoft Store, Microsoft may process account, device, purchase and payment information under Microsoft’s own terms and privacy practices.
Solvunu does not receive or store your full payment card details. Purchase and licence validation may involve Microsoft services where required to confirm access to paid features.
7. Exports, backups and information you choose to share
Some Solvunu features may let you export or back up information. When you create an export or backup, you control where that file is stored and whether you share it with another person or service.
If you voluntarily send information to us for support, feedback or another request, we may use the information you provide to respond to that request.
8. Data sharing
We do not sell personal data.
Information may be processed by service providers only where needed to operate the website, distribute the application, process purchases, provide infrastructure, meet legal obligations or protect the security of the Services. Examples can include our hosting provider and Microsoft in connection with Microsoft Store distribution and purchases.
9. Data retention
Data stored locally in the application remains on your device until it is removed through the application, overwritten by normal use, deleted as part of an app-data reset, or removed when you uninstall the application, depending on how Windows handles the relevant local storage.
Where you contact us directly, correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, maintain business records or meet legal obligations.
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the Services and minimise unnecessary data collection. No software, device or internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to personal data, such as rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection.
Much of the information used by Solvunu is intended to remain locally on your device and can be managed there. If you believe we hold personal data about you and wish to exercise an applicable right, use the official contact details published on our website.
12. Children
Solvunu is a general utility product and is not designed to intentionally collect personal information from children. If future functionality is introduced that changes this, the relevant privacy information will be updated.
13. International availability
Solvunu is intended for users in multiple countries. Privacy and consumer protection requirements may differ by location. We will update our practices as the Services expand and as required by applicable law.
